The 7th and 8th graders are logging onto the art websites that are posted last. They are choosing from about 10 choices. Some of the websites require an e-mail to save their artwork...some do not. Some of the kids favorite choices are...lite brite, picasso head painting, and abstract artwork. There were many other favorites as well. My personal favorite was Voki (an avatar making website) as well as MANY others. We will be getting on these websites many times and might be introduced to even more! I have not yet tried all the websites. But, I yearn to very much. I am excited to see what Ms. Rogers will come up with for us next. On Voki, you are able to choose from many heads, clothing, accessories and backgrounds. You may also upload your own background, browsing through your desktop photos. Voki allows you to text, call, upload an audio file from your desktop and record with a microphone the voice of your voki character. Or you could pick from another players uploaded voice. You could also use Voki to teach kids that aren't very good in a subject. You could use the voki character to talk to the kids if you're not very good at explaining it yourself.
This is a link allowing you to see my voki that I made in art class. His name is Henry!! :) hahahahaha!!!!!!! :) !
