With the renovation of the Amos Hiatt Auditorium by the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute Class of 2011, we are happy to announce a new project that will be taking place in the art room. We will be working with Concetta Morales to design and construct a 3'x22' mural that will be installed above the stage. Concetta will be working with the students over the next 6 months to complete the mural. The students will get first hand experience working with a resident artist, cutting tiles, and learning about the tile mosaic process. Follow this blog to see the project unfold.
